Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan OM  was an Indian politician, philosopher, and statesman who served as the second president of India from 1962 to 1967.Radhakrishnan is someone who was really important in the 1900s because he studied and knew a lot about different religions and ways of thinking. Radhakrishnan was born into a family in a place called Tiruttani. He had two siblings and his parents spoke Telugu. They came from a village called Sarvepalli in Andhra Pradesh. Radhakrishnan spent his early years in Thiruttani and Tirupati. His father worked for a local landlord. He went to K. V. High School in Thiruttani and later attended a mission school and a government school in Tirupati and Walajapet.
